Plan Your Cold Calling Sales Goal

to accomplish by the end of your initial conversation. Keep it to one
goal is most often appropriate, but may depend upon your type of sale.
For example, the goal may be to generate an appointment, while other
goals will be to send information. What is your initial call's sales
goal?
When setting your goal, the main item you want to remember is, the
goal needs to be action oriented. You want to know, by the time you hang
up the telephone, that you've accomplished something which moves the
relationship forward!
